When using the Personlization method to push background images you may encounter the following error:
"PhoneSuite is not enabled for device"
This error means that the Personlization feature is disable for that phone, this setting is disabled by default so you may need to enable it. Personlization can be enabled for the cluster, groups or individual phones in CUCM, the following instructions are for enabling Personlization for the cluster:
- Open System > Enterprise Parameters
- Set the "Phone Personalization" setting to enabled (or 1 in some older CUCM versions)
- Restart the relevant IP Phones for this change to take effect
Note: The "Phone Control User" configured in PhoneView needs to be an "End User" in order to successfully push backgrounds using the Personlization method.
